Chimney Certification
New Jersey Uniform Construction Code requires a chimney certification for replacement of a hot water heater, furnace or boiler. The inspection shall include verification that the flue or flues being inspected are free of combustible deposits and blockage or obstruction.
If the flue liner in your chimney has softened, cracked, or otherwise deteriorated so that it no longer has the continued ability to contain the products of combustion (IE: heat, moisture, creosote, and flue gases), the liner shall be either removed and replaced, repaired or relined with a listed liner system or other approved material that will resist corrosion, softening, or cracking from flue gases at appropriate levels to the class of chimney service.
Great service. Had him come to our house today for a basic chimney cleaning. He was very professional, friendly, and took the time to answer all of our questions. We never write reviews but felt the need to since this is the first chimney company we felt comfortable with. We highly recommend his services.
Recently called George for a quote to inspect my chimney on a new house I just bought before I fired it up this winter. George confirmed it was in good shape and didn’t try to say it needed work that was unnecessary like other chimney companies I’ve heard about. He was honest and showed up on time. I would highly recommend him.
